Global Leadership Training Centre, Mumbai exists in response to the growing need to impart systematic theological education to young men and women of God, and equip them with the tools necessary to be mature, productive and effective Christian leaders in today’s pluralistic society. GLTC provides a unique opportunity to be trained in Christ-centered, biblically oriented studies, Christian ministry and leadership in our city itself, especially for those who are called to ministry, whether married or single, and who are currently holding jobs or businesses in Mumbai without having to give up their jobs or leave our city to get trained.
Our mission is to provide a quality education that is Bible-based, Evangelical and Pentecostal in perspective. A Bible based education for our students to build their life upon a solid foundation of Christian doctrines, to develop Christ-centered men and women of Christian character, and to equip with skills and prepare them for a life time ministry.
Global Leadership Training Centre is a proud ‘Candidate Member’ of Asia Theological Association (ATA), which is one of the eight regional accrediting agencies worldwide that are members of the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education, which is a global partner of the World Evangelical Alliance.
PROGRAMMES OF STUDY
Global Leadership Training Centre currently offers Bachelor of Theology (Specialization in Urban Studies); a 4 –Year Degree Program.
Bachelor of Theology with a specialization in Urban Studies is a four- years degree program (108 Credits), designed with a curriculum to help students think, and reflect critically. Moreover, address issues of growing importance of the urban life, centers and culture etc. in the light of an Evangelical Christian Faith. The theological and urban study courses together constitute a coherent programme of studies with an aim to enhance connections between theological principles, and the growing need of wholistic transformation in the urban context.
The program is systematically planned to help the students critically reflect, and able to analyze, and discuss the subject and its contemporary relevance. It provides the student with a well-rounded course of study designed to equip him/her to fulfill the essential responsibilities of a godly leader, pastor and evangelist who will have a godly impact in the local church and society. Furthermore, it helps to build and develop biblical scholarship.
