The endeavor of the Women's Ministry here at The River Of Life Assembly is to Encourage, Equip and Empower every woman to be what God wants them to be.
We desire that the women of The River of Life Assembly will be set free to serve God by:
Rising above the busyness of life and the cares of the world.
Breaking the emotional, spiritual or any other shackles that bind them.
Finding their place in the body of Christ that God has called them to.
Effectively using their God-given gifts and talents to serve God in their families, workplace and in the church.
This vision is one that we believe will be progressively fulfilled by the Holy Spirit as we increasingly surrender to His will and plans for us.
The importance of prayer and encourage our women to commit to a life of prayer – for self, family, church, work and world.
The study the word of God to renew their minds, so that every wrong concept can be replaced by what God’s Word has to say about it and about them.
We Encourage our women to
Seek God and develop a personal and intimate relationship with Him.
Seek to be united with & committed to one another and to the Church family.
Women have an important role to play in God’s scheme of things, at home, in the church and in the world.
We are called to be contributors and not spectators or bystanders.
Every woman is important in God’s eyes and we must see them as such.
As a first step in this direction, over the course of 2014, we will prayerfully undertake the study of the book “Disciplines of a Godly Woman” by Barbara Hughes, during the monthly meetings. We believe that as we study, obey and co-operate with Him, God will mould us into all that He would have us be and be glorified in the process.
God is using Women even today to touch lives and bring a change in their homes and in their communities.
We meet every last Saturday of the month at 4 p.m.
Come and meet with some wonderful women and join us for a great time of fellowship.
